Mark's Story

MEET MARK TRUBUHOVICH

More than two decades of meaningful ceremonies

My passion for creating meaningful ceremonies began more than 20 years ago when I attended a wedding where the ceremony felt disconnected from the couple themselves.

It stayed with me because I believe every ceremony should feel personal, thoughtful and true to the people at the centre of it. Whether it is a wedding, a funeral, a memorial service or a celebration of life, the ceremony should reflect the values, relationships, stories and moments that matter most.

More than two decades later, I still feel genuinely privileged to help couples and families create ceremonies that are written with care and shaped around the people they are for. Over time, my wife Maria has become an important part of that work, bringing calm, practical support to the day itself.

My approach is calm, personal and collaborative, I take time to understand who you are, what matters to you, and how you want the ceremony to feel. Some ceremonies are relaxed and simple, others include more structure, tradition, family involvement or deeply personal moments. Either way, the goal is always the same to create a ceremony that feels genuine, respectful and true.

WORKING TOGETHER AS A COUPLE

A balanced, thoughtful presence

Over time, Maria's involvement has become an important part of the way I work.

While I focus on crafting and delivering the ceremony, Maria brings a calm, supportive presence to the process from the early conversations through to the day itself. She often notices the small details, dynamics and practical needs that help the ceremony feel balanced and personal. On the day, she assists the bride, bridesmaids or family where needed, ensures music is timed correctly, and helps manage any unexpected moments that naturally arise.

Having Maria there also gives me a trusted person I can quietly connect with during the ceremony, which helps everything run smoothly and calmly.

Quite simply, it works.

HOW IT WORKS

The Ceremony Process

01

Initial Connection

First, we check whether I am available on your wedding date. From there, we can arrange an initial meeting, with no charge and no obligation.

This first conversation gives you a chance to ask questions, share your ideas, and decide whether I am the right celebrant for your ceremony.
Often we talk about having the 'right fit.'

02

Crafting Your Ceremony

Your ceremony should feel personal, relaxed and true to you. I take time to understand your relationship, your story, your values, and the tone you want for the day.

I can provide sample vows, ceremony ideas and guidance, while shaping the ceremony around you as a couple rather than using a generic script.

03

Rehearsal & Wedding Day

A rehearsal is recommended when the wedding party includes bridesmaids, groomsmen, family members, readings, music or other key moments.

This usually takes place before the wedding and helps everyone feel relaxed and confident with the timing, positioning and flow of the ceremony.

04

Next Steps

Wedding ceremonies start from $400, excluding any additional travel or accommodation costs where required.

To check availability, ask a question or arrange an initial conversation, please contact Mark.
